Peanut Butter Balls on a Stick Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:
2 lbs. peanut butter 1 pound butter 3 pounds powdered sugar 2 12-ounce pkgs semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 of one bar of paraffin wax (optional; makes dipping easier) toothpicks for dipping waxed paper
Directions:
Place wax paper onto cookie sheets and set aside.
Cream peanut butter and butter until combined. Gradually add sugar and mix well.
Roll peanut butter mixture into approximate 1-inch diameter balls. Insert one tooth pick into each ball. Set aside.
Carefully melt chocolate and paraffin in a double boiler.
Dip peanut butter balls into chocolate so about 3/4's is coated. Let cool on waxed paper. Store in a cool place.
Yield: About 400 cookies. Halve or quarter the recipe if you don't want that many!
