Simple Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe 

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups Bisquick

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheets.

With mixer, blend peanut butter, sugar, shortening and water until smooth.

Stir in Bisquick.

Drop onto prepared baking sheets by the spoonful and press down each drop with a fork (dip in Bisquick to prevent sticking).

Bake 8-10 minutes.

Allow to cool on baking sheets before transferring.

Yield: About 70 cookies.
